The university is not good. Even hochshule is better. If you have better options consider them first. This should be your last option. The university is terrible in scheduling for the courses in master’s. The classrooms are always cold and you have to wash your hands with the cold water in the bathroom in winter seasons.
The professors are super normal not top notch and overall doesn’t worth it. Even the dean is not listening to our voice or emails.
The only thing which is good is the university’s area and library.
I mean come on it’s a private university and we are paying a huge amount of money every year. These little things shouldn’t be the case.
I personally expected it to be more organized.
Don’t rely on the old reviews. This place is not what it once was.
Since the Russian buy out this university has gone from intercultural heaven to mediocre cash cow especially regarding housing and the new living staff. The ranking also dropped significantly sadly.
As a third year I do not recommend this, your money is better spend somewhere else.
Private University in English while they learn german language.
Contacted them twice via their website. No reply. Called them, was transferred to an answering machine. No one ever called back. Definetely not a place I would want my kids to study anymore ..
As a student here. I like it. My program is very well designed. However the university is a bit suffering and the best place to learn German if you want to do so. It is more Americanized.
