  1. The Island Garden is one of the eight show gardens in the Great Garden. The core is an island framed by a watercourse, in the center of which flat box hedges accommodate the typical decorations of baroque gardens. Two wooden footbridges take you to the inner gravel path. The watercourse is filled with goldfish, and sea lilies/pond lilies form a beautiful contrast to the eight small fountains.
All of this is covered by an embankment of decorative gravel. There are benches on the edge to the left and right of the entrance. If you take the time, you can enjoy the sound of the water features and the view of the Boskett gardens with their separate rooms.
